Mic Larry (born Larry Williams) is a clean comedian and Detroit native who’s been lighting up stages since 2006. With a sharp wit, strong stage presence, and heart to match, Mic Larry offers comedy that connects — rooted in real life, family stories, and universal truths—delivered with warmth and authenticity.

Over the years he’s opened for comedy heavyweights like Paul Mooney, Cedric the Entertainer, Mike Epps, and Tony Roberts, and has performed in top venues across Michigan (Hockey Town Theater, Comedy Castle, Joey’s Comedy Club) as well as nationally (Gotham Comedy Club in New York, VP Town Comedy Corner in Atlanta, Jokes & Notes in Chicago). 

He’s more than just laughs. Mic Larry puts his community first — annually he produces Laughter & Food for the Soul, a Detroit show geared toward feeding and sheltering the homeless, and has won back-to-back “Metro Gospel Funny Comedian” awards.
